Where are we?

The Subtropical North coast of NSW is a very special place.  Miles of amazing beaches, a balmy climate year round, and some of the richest agricultural land anywhere.

Its pretty hard to beat.  Add to that, proximity to the largest city in the region, and a long spit to one of our best angling and boating rivers in Australia.

The Grafton permies property is 200 acres of privately owned gently sloping land 10 minutes north of Grafton .  Currently about 25% is set aside for grazing.  We will look to bring about 1% of the land into some sort of production each year for the next 20 years.  High value tree species endemic to the region will be planted through the forest.

Grafton is on the Pacific Highway and the major rail line running from Brisbane to Sydney.  Its about 7 hours drive north of Sydney and 3 hours south of the Gold Coast.

The Quickie Introduction

While it looks like a farm, it's really a lifestyle.   Together we dream up, research, design and create all kinds of "homestead" stuff.

We live in small alternate build private houses.  We also have shared kitchen, dining, lounging and areas where we  play snooker, darts, table tennis, music,  - all manner of diversions actually.

Financially, there is one owner of everything associated with the property so there is no possibility of  financial disputes,  You pay a small visitor fee but benefit from no electric costs, no internet, and with much of your food being grown right under your feet.

More detail is available elsewhere on the site and on request.

Likely Projects

Here are some possible projects we will get our teeth into .... haha!      Of course, we may do anything we agree to do .... remember this is lifestyle determined, not an economic desision.
